CLEAR FROM THE START
Good projects start with a clear plan.
The practical details behind your website build and care plan. Your proposal brings the scope, price and project schedule together before we begin.
Website build scope
Essential includes 3 pages: a homepage, one inner content page and a contact page. Signature includes 4 pages: home, services, about and contact. Expanded includes 6 pages: home and five inner pages, with contact counting toward the five. Blog and portfolio index pages can be selected; one shared detail template per selected collection and three initial entries per collection are included. Extra entries, individually designed detail pages, search and filters are additional work.
Each homepage is capped at 8 sections, including one animated hero. Each inner page is capped at 5 sections. A section is a distinct content area, capped at 500 words or 12 gallery images. Header, footer and ordinary legal text pages do not count as sections. Client-supplied privacy and legal text may be placed into two plain text legal pages; legal drafting is excluded.
Base packages customise a selected Gren showcase design to your branding, supplied content and imagery, with one agreed 3D & Interactive hero direction. Custom 3D & Interactive work, modelling and advanced features and bespoke inner-page designs are separate upgrades. We specify the technology and visual treatment before work starts.
Payment, revisions & approvals
For the upfront payment option, the scoped build fee is due after you accept the written proposal and before work begins. Approved add-ons are invoiced separately before their work starts. Hosting is separate and begins when live hosting is provisioned at your agreed launch date. If a client requests a delayed launch, any interim live hosting charge is agreed first.
Two consolidated revision rounds are included within the approved brief, with a combined client-requested revision allowance of 4 hours for Essential, 6 hours for Signature and 8 hours for Expanded. The allowance covers refinements to the agreed direction across both rounds; it is not per round. Corrections to Gren errors or failures to deliver the agreed scope do not consume the allowance. Approved initial delivery remains Gren’s responsibility. A round is one collected list of feedback from your nominated decision maker. A new concept, changes to approved work or requests beyond the stated limits are quoted for approval before being undertaken. No additional charges are incurred without written agreement.
You supply final copy, brand files and licensed imagery, and approve accuracy, business claims, prices and legal content. We begin the schedule after payment, required content and access are received. Launch dates depend on timely feedback and are confirmed in the proposal, not guaranteed by a generic package.
Project pauses & restarting
If required content or decisions have been outstanding for 30 days, we send written notice, pause the project and release its reserved production slot. Work completed and prepaid balances are recorded. After 90 days of inactivity, we review the remaining work, technical changes and availability with you.
A restart review may be quoted for your approval, capped at two hours at the published additional-support rate. It applies only to actual review / setup work needed to resume, not as a penalty. Any further scope changes are separately quoted. We do not charge a restart fee for delays caused by Gren.
Cancellation & consumer rights
If you cancel a build, we account for work actually completed and unavoidable third-party costs that you approved, and return any unused balance, subject to applicable law. Upfront payment is not a blanket “no refunds” rule. If Gren cannot perform the agreed service, appropriate remedies remain available.
Nothing in these notes excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees and protections in your location. A written proposal is reviewed against the relevant jurisdiction before you accept it. Disputes should first be raised in writing so we can investigate and seek a reasonable resolution.
Ownership & portability
You retain ownership of your supplied content and domain. Once the agreed invoices are paid, the completed custom deliverables are provided under the ownership / usage terms stated in your proposal. Gren's reusable components, methods and pre-existing code remain Gren's materials, licensed for use in the delivered website. Third-party fonts, stock and software retain their own licences.
Your website can be moved to another host. We include basic export / handover of the paid-for website and domain transfer authorisation. Hands-on migration, rebuilding unsupported features and configuring a new provider are quoted separately. Agency-managed premium subscriptions are not sold or transferred to you.
Hosting & care
Care plans cover one agreed WordPress website, the stated storage and web traffic allowances, monthly scheduled updates, off-site backups, automated monitoring and the stated support time. Support time does not roll over. Important security patches are assessed and prioritised after testing. We do not promise that every update can be applied immediately or that monitoring prevents every outage.
Backups are recovery snapshots with the retention specified in your plan, not permanent archives. You should retain your own business records. An available clean backup may be restored after an agreed incident assessment. A successful recovery depends on backup integrity and the incident's scope. Third-party outages and client-controlled changes are outside Gren's control.
SSL management, Elementor Pro or Divi access, supported Gravity Forms access, SMTP configuration, monitoring and one domain renewal allowance are included during active paid care. Only the builder used on your site is covered. Vendor AI credits, premium extensions, SMS, external email accounts and API / provider usage charges are excluded unless expressly included.
Website security and incidents
We use reasonable care and skill to apply the security measures included in your agreed service. No website, hosting platform or third-party component can be guaranteed free from hacking, malware, viruses, data loss or interruption. New vulnerabilities and threats may arise despite appropriate precautions. Hosting and maintenance reduce risk; they do not provide a guarantee against every incident.
You are responsible for protecting client-controlled accounts and credentials, using multi-factor authentication where available, promptly notifying us of suspected compromise, and avoiding unsupported software or changes without checking their effect on your site. We remain responsible for the work and security measures within our agreed scope.
If an incident occurs, we assess it, explain the proposed response and seek approval for additional chargeable recovery work. Restoration depends on an available clean backup and the incident's scope. Any response, remediation and restoration included in your care plan or owed under applicable law remains included. Charges for extra work are agreed before that work begins.
Nothing in this clause excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits remedies for our failure to provide the agreed service with reasonable care and skill. Any liability limitations must be expressly agreed in your written contract and checked for the applicable jurisdiction.
Care billing options
Monthly care is paid in advance. Quarterly care is paid three months upfront at 4% less than three monthly payments. Annual care is paid twelve months upfront at 8% less than twelve monthly payments. Support allowances remain monthly and do not roll over; prepayment does not change maintenance frequency. The selected term, renewal amount and treatment of any unused prepaid service on cancellation are confirmed in your care agreement, subject to applicable consumer rights.
Website instalments & included hosting
The monthly option uses a 36-month payment term. Setup payments are A$1,200 / A$1,800 / A$2,400 for Essential / Signature / Expanded, followed by A$279 / A$359 / A$499 per month respectively. The setup payment is due before work begins; the first monthly payment and 36-month term begin when the agreed live hosting starts. These rates are separate from the introductory upfront build prices.
Grendesign hosting and maintenance are required throughout the instalment term and included in the monthly payment. Essential includes GrenCare Essential, Signature includes GrenCare Plus and Expanded includes GrenCare Pro, with the same monthly minor-update allowances of 15 / 30 / 60 minutes, no rollover. The build scope, two revision rounds and 4 / 6 / 8-hour total revision allowances still apply. New features, redesigns and work beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately.
The monthly charge comprises website instalments and care. At current care rates, the build component is A$130 / A$160 / A$200 per month. Quarterly and annual care savings apply to standalone care plans; they do not discount these combined 36-month instalment plans.
Once the agreed build balance is fully paid, your website is paid for and can be handed over or moved elsewhere. If you stay with Gren, your monthly payment drops to A$149 / A$199 / A$299 per month. There is no automatic new 36-month build commitment. Agency licence keys and subscriptions are not transferred.
If you request an early exit, we provide an itemised buyout for the unpaid build component remaining in your agreed payment schedule, plus any separately approved unpaid work and service already delivered. Future undelivered hosting and maintenance are excluded from the build buyout. Your signed proposal confirms eligibility, the full payment schedule, total commitment, early-exit arrangements and handover before the project begins, subject to applicable rights.
Leaving hosting
Standalone care can be cancelled by giving 30 days' written notice. For bundled website instalments, the payment term and build buyout above also apply. Gren removes agency-managed premium licence / update / support connections when care ends. To retain future vendor updates and support, purchase eligible subscriptions directly or arrange them through your new provider. We do not charge for past included licence access and do not promise existing plugins will continue unchanged after support ends.
One domain renewal allowance of up to AUD 60 is included per 12 paid months. Premium domains, transfer charges and excess renewal costs are excluded. Your domain remains yours; there is no automatic transfer of ownership to Gren.
Overdue payments & suspension
We send a reminder for overdue care invoices. After an invoice is 14 days overdue, we may give seven days' written notice before suspending the unpaid hosting service. We discuss disputed invoices and reasonable payment arrangements. Any restoration work beyond re-enabling normal service is quoted before it is charged. Expired domains and third-party accounts may have their own reinstatement costs.
International prices & taxes
All base prices and invoices are in AUD. Currency conversions use dated reference rates as estimates only. Tax treatment, the full total, payment method and any provider fees are confirmed in your written quote. Selecting a currency does not determine your location, tax status or applicable law. International hosting and automated service subscriptions may have different tax treatment from a human-delivered design project.
Performance, SEO & accessibility
Responsive layouts, reduced-motion alternatives and practical performance optimisation are part of the agreed build. Device capability, network conditions, browser changes and third-party scripts affect performance. Accessibility remediation, audits and compliance certification are separate scoped services. No search ranking, lead volume, revenue or universal performance score is guaranteed.
End-of-year introductory offer
If enabled, introductory build rates apply to eligible new projects whose scope is accepted and build invoice paid by 18 December 2026 at 11:59pm Melbourne/Sydney time, or earlier when fully booked. Places are first come, first served, subject to delivery capacity. Availability and production dates are confirmed in your proposal. The launch bonus is one additional basic form of up to eight fields and three social sharing images for the website packages; it does not apply to hero-only work. This build offer does not discount hosting, recurring services, integrations or vendor charges. The separate care billing options provide 4% quarterly and 8% annual savings when paid upfront. Viewing prices does not create a purchase.
A different design, built around your brief.
Showcase packages customise an existing design. You can also commission another 3D & Interactive direction. We agree the design, interactions, deliverables, revision allowance and price before work begins.
